Newcastle Hunter Committee Wellbeing Officers Garry Drummond, Vince Murphy and David Turrell visited Nathan Pili at his grandparents’ home where he is recovering from a significant spinal cord injury (spinal contusion) whilst playing for the East Maitland Griffins in Newcastle and Hunter Rugby League  Competition.

Nathan previously attended The Hunter Sports High Targeted Sports Rugby League Program and is currently undergoing rehabilitation for his injury. With the assistance of his mate Brock Lamb from the Newcastle Knights, he is making steady progress. We wish Nathan all the best for his recovery.
